Since 1873
Five generations of hair.
HEADS in Makati is the newest chapter of a German family house that has been working with hair since 1873. Here is the whole line, and where you can check it.
Laupheim, 1873
Bergmann was founded in Laupheim, in southern Germany. The early workshop made jewellery from real hair, wigs for dolls, and the Rococo and Allonge wigs worn on the German stage. Theatre, film and television have relied on the house ever since. The company moved to Erwin-Rentschler-Straße, where it still sits, in 1964, and marked its 150th year in 2023.

We make it. We don’t trade it.
Bergmann opened its first studio for hair replacement in 1984, a second in 1998, and in that same year began manufacturing its own pieces instead of buying them in. That decision still defines how we work: the people who fit your hair and the people who make it belong to the same house.
Seven studios in Germany. Ten years in Manila.
The family runs seven HEADS studios across Germany. HEADS has been fitting clients in Makati for ten years, and opens its flagship at The Residences at Greenbelt in September 2026.
Our own factory, here
The European Hair Factory in Cabuyao, Laguna is ours. Every bespoke piece is made there to measure, in unprocessed European human hair, by hand. No two are alike — and because the atelier is ours, we can answer for what is in your hair and how it was made.
Hair that comes back
Through Hair for Hope, Filipino donors give their hair. Our atelier turns nine quality-passed bundles into one finished wig, and it goes to a patient. Few can offer that, because it needs a factory rather than a supplier.
